Peter Haack plays a hands-on role in all projects.

Specialist support is provided by key collaborator, Josie Alvaro, a highly experienced Urban Designer and Landscape Architect.

Other graphic and technical support is provided by highly skilled, specialist consultants as required.

  • With over 30 years experience, Peter has a passion for highly creative design solutions that improve functional, aesthetic, social and environmental outcomes.

    Peter has led private and public sector landscape architecture, urban design and landscape planning projects – including transport, energy infrastructure and major renewal projects, conducting visual assessments of wind farms, and developing open space strategies and park master plans.

    He led the urban and public realm reference design for the Melbourne Metro Rail project, one of Victoria’s largest public transport projects and the urban design and landscape architecture for the Peninsula Link Freeway.

    His breadth of experience is demonstrated in his leading of the the preparation of a master plan for Living Links, an environmental and recreational corridor in the Dandenong Creek catchment, which received an award from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.

  • Josie is a versatile designer whose career spans a decade across urban design and landscape architecture in both the public sector and private consulting.

    Her main areas of expertise are analysis, advisory work, and the visioning and concept stages of design. She has particular interest in the impact of places on people’s behaviour and experiences. This inspired her to obtain extra qualifications in User Experience (UX) Design and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).

    She has delivered projects at scales ranging from city-wide down to a small parklet, and of many types including transport infrastructure, recreation, temporary activation, and public realm.
